Mice
Aside from my rats, I also have a smaller group of mice. Like the rats, I do not randomly breed my mice. They may be bred based on their health, personality, type, and appearance. I use the mousery database as well as my own records to keep track of their health, DOB, pedigrees, and other issues.
My mice are housed in various sized tanks, from individuals for males, to 20-30 gallon tanks for groups of females. Female mice are never housed alone except before giving birth and throughout the litter-raising process. Like my rats, I order food through Harlan and use Sani-Chips (or regular aspen when we run out of Sani-Chips) for bedding. Cages have wheels in them for excercise and various other plastic toys (tubes, little houses, etc) are also placed in there for the enjoyment of the mice. I also bring home from work a steady supply of variously sized small inner-pack cardboard boxes for them to play in and chew up.
I am working towards breeding broken marked and variegated mice in a variety of colors - blue being my favorite color. I love satin and angora coats, although most of my angora mice have a lot of work to be done lengthening their coats. I am also very fond of splashed and merles.
Mice are available to approved pet/breeder only homes as I have babies available. (I will not sell them to you as feeders.) Babies may be posted here, or you may inquire by emailing me about litters.
